Ardgour to Oban and Dunstaffnage

Ardgour to Oban and Dunstaffnage

These #Photographs are the Scottish Highlands from Ardgour to Oban and Dunstaffnage Castle on the 4th and 5th of June 2004.

This set of photographs begin at the Car Ferry from Ardgour and crosses to Nether Lochber at Corran. This is a very cool trip and the scenery with the mountains is majestic with farm houses nestled into the landscape.

At the end of the Ferry journey you can turn right and head for Fort William or you can go South for Oban which James did.

Oban is a great place to stay over night and it's a place where you could spend a couple of weeks for a holiday. The Harbour with it's boats is very lovely at dusk and the Oban Lookout is very cool though it helps if the fog has not crept in overnight!

Dunstaffnage Castle is a partially ruined castle in Argyll and Bute, western Scotland. It lies 5 km NNE of Oban, situated on a platform of conglomerate rock on a promontory at the south-west of the entrance to Loch Etive, and is surrounded on three sides by the sea.
