These #photographs are from Kyoto in Japan and they were captured by James on the first stop on his Round the World Tour that began 2007.
The time spent with Keiko Tsuda in Japan and this visit to Kyoto is one of the great joys of James' life. He remembers the most excellent bullet train and a restaurant in Kyoto that was amazing.
The ancient architecture and temples of Kyoto are for a student of religion like James a remarkable experience. The Zen Garden of the Ryōan-ji The Temple of the Dragon at Peace was one of many highlights and we hope these photographs represent it's peace and beauty adequately.
