Albany WA 2003

Albany WA 2003

These images were captured by James Rendell on a visit to Albany in Western Australia that happened at Easter 2003. Thanks to Pam and the late Rod Schultze for their kind hospitality and taxi sightseeing service that assisted in the collection of these images.

These #photographs are really quite remarkable given that they were created using a Nikon E885, see picture and at a time when digital photography was in it's infancy at the time James completed his Graduate Diploma in Photomedia and was starting to make images!

Nikon E885

The quality of the Nikon lens clearly compensates for the small engine under the bonnet of the camera, however, zooming in at great distances and remaining crisply in focus, was a challenge for the technology!

The Top gallery contains 12 colour edited feature images and the galleries below contain a curated set of camera proofs that have not been colour edited, that provides narrative context to the photography journey.
