Garlands Florist was one of our first commissions from a shop in Sydney in 2003 and these #photographs are the curated camera proofs of their gorgeous things.
The gift of hindsight is a wondrous thing! Hindsight tells us that the technology underpinning digital cameras in 2003 was not great at taking photos in a florist at night! But like all the rest of the "pioneers" at the beginning of the digital we pushed the tech to the limits and our persistence did win us some gorgeous images albeit, with much pruning along the way.
The heroes of these #photographs are the plants, flowers and the fish. Even slightly blurry the beauty of the colours of the flowers is radiant so we are publishing these camera proofs in memory of the plants to remind us of how far we have come from those heady days at the beginning of the digital camera revolution.
