San Lorenzo de El Escorial Spain 2007

These #photographs are of the San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spain 2007 which is an old world building that is a Royal Residence.

"El Escorial is the largest Renaissance building in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace was built in 1563 by King Philip II and it’s located 45km northwest of Madrid, which makes it a perfect for a day trip from Madrid. The building is not just a Royal residence, it’s also a.o. a monastery, a library, a museum, and a school". From: Royal Palaces Spain.

We would like to thank Federico H. Plasencia for his kind hospitality during James' visit to Spain. Fede's excellent tour guiding is the reason many of these photographs were able to be taken so we thank him for that also.

The Gallery, Above, contains a selection of curated camera proofs for narrative context and your viewing pleasure.
