Sydney People & Landscapes 2005

Sydney People & Landscapes 2005

These #photographs are a group of galleries containing images of Sydney People & Landscapes that were taken by James Rendell in 2005 during the time he was winding up his work in Sydney.

To this end the Landscapes include images of the waterfront life of Balmain Cove, rain forest oasis of Cooper Park, Sydney City views from Bellevue Hill along with Cityscape views from a Bondi Junction, the big sky and blue sea of Gordons Bay in Coogee, Randwick and the historic Waverley Cemetery!

Our first model in this archive in Cooper Park is Jorge, who was introduced to us by Christopher Barnes of Email Connect. The two dudes after that are Chris Foster and Martin Curnow from Sydney, though Chris was photographed in Melbourne.

In our Randwick Gallery there are images of Peter Camara from the USA and his friends. You can see more photographs of Peter here:  Finally, the bloke looming out of the dusk at Waverley Cemetery is Nurse Johnny.

Above: Balmain Cove a place of peace of seclusion amidst the busy city rat race.

Above and Below: Cooper Park is an Oasis on the edge of Bellevue Hill. We've included a couple of snaps of Christopher's tea sets and there are some views from on top of the building!

Above: Chris Foster from Sydney photographed in Sydney and Martin Curnow's very cool set taken in Sydney.

Above and Below: This set starts with Views from on top of the Bondi Junction Carpark over looking Spotlight and next is Gordons Bay in Coogee. Next are some snaps of Peter Camara followed by Nurse Johnny in the Waverley Cemetery!

These Galleries, Above, contain a mix of colour edited images, some cropping and the previously unpublished curated camera proofs for narrative context and your viewing pleasure.
