Dunfermline Scotland 2004

These #photographs were taken during a visit with Michael in Dunfermline, the Ancient Capital of Scotland, on the 22 May 2004.

If you are interested in history and beautiful Old World Architecture then Dunfermline is a place that should be on your bucket list. The good thing is that while Dunfermline may have just been granted city status in May 2022, all the major attractions are within walking distance.

We recommend that you "Follow the Old World Towers" along the main street & have a picnic lunch in the Park after you have visited the Dunfermline Abbey Church and Royal Precinct! After Lunch check out St Leonard's Church with the round stone tower and spend some time soaking up the old world atmosphere.

James met Michael when James was in Edinburgh doing the CELTA Course at Basil Paterson College in the days before facebook was a thing. James' says that his decision to accept the invitation to visit Dunfermline to spend time hanging out with Michael was a really good choice and he is grateful for the time spent soaking up the Vibes of the Ancient Capital.

Michael was a cool dude who was a fun and entertaining tour guide and that made the day a happy experience and so Dunfermline became a lasting memory. CADT Photography would like to thank Michael very much for his friendly guidance and if Michael ever visits "Down Under" then we would hope to see him and give him a wee tour of the Perth that is in West Australia!

Above and Below: You can see by the photographs that it was a happy and relaxed day! Being the unexpected witnesses to a Wedding in the Dunfermline Abbey Church was a mighty fine experience.

The Gallery, Above, contains a curated set of previously unpublished camera proofs for narrative context.
