Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2007

Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2007

These are #photographs from a weekend at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2007.

James arrived in Edinburgh for his second stay in the Scottish Capital to meet Wayne Ostler from Melbourne and they stayed in the very close to the Castle Accomodation of Wayne's Sister, Sue.

These photographs include some show stills which are generally very difficult to capture especially when venues use terrible red lighting, which is probably designed to prevent photography from the audience.

During the Fringe Festival Edinburgh transforms into a rat race where one races from show to show with little time to rest in between. The shows James was enrolled into seeing were memorable for their liberal use of nudity to deliver humour!

You will notice some photographs of the people who were handing out show flyers and by the end of the weekend Wayne said what we all thought that we were fed up with being yelled while random pieces of paper were shoved in our faces!

Thanks to Sue and Wayne Ostler for their kind hospitality. Edinburgh in 2007 was memorable and the Fringe Festival is indeed an experience that is perhaps unique in the world!

The Gallery, Above, contains a selection of curated camera proofs for narrative context and your viewing pleasure.
