Lofoten is a very interesting Norwegian Island where you can stay by the beach and experience the fishing village lifestyle in Å where there is a great fishing museum and restaurants serving local fish.
The township of Borg is where you will find a fantastic Viking Museum with a Smithy and other working attractions such as a longboat and a traditional viking long house.
We've placed a gallery of Seagull images at the bottom which were taken on a boat trip to see the majestic Sea Eagles and the Trollfjord where a highlight was seeing Hurtigruten ships navigate the narrow fjord.
